Dirty, Dull Travertine
The travertine in this Oldsmar, Florida home looked dirty, there were fine scratches, embedded dirt and grime, and the finish had a very dull appearance. This could not be remedied through regular cleaning methods, such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing, because signs of wear on travertine must be dealt with by a professional contractor specializing in travertine refinishing.
Our Travertine Restoration Process
First, we took extra precautions to preserve the walls and cabinets surrounding our work area. Then, to erase the scratches and other surface damage and expose the brand new travertine underneath, we diamond honed away a very fine upper layer of the travertine. Lastly, we polished the travertine to a gorgeous, reflective shine. Our clients were amazed at the dramatic difference our travertine restoration services made.
